Stretching keeps our muscles flexible, strong, and healthy. We need that flexabilityto maintain a range of motion in our joints. Without it, the muscles will shorten and become tight. So, then when you are using those muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. Putting you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage! Even if you don't go to the gym or do any type of real exercise, stretching can prove to be extremely beneficial in your day to day mobility.
